The HUR-316-2020 is the Hurst Pistol Grip Rear Cable Exit Quarter Stick 2 Powerglide Shifter with Momentary Button. This shifter features all the same safety and race proven features as the original Hurst Quarter stick with the upgrade to a rear exit cable. The rear exit cable option is a must for rear engine cars and our preferred option for doors, because the cable can be installed in most applications with only one sweeping bend which reduces shifter cable drag / binding. One major note is when installing a rear exit cable shifter, the Powerglide shift lever has to be installed with the arm pointing upward so if your Powerglide is not fitted with a two-piece shift lever, you will have to pull the pan and change out the shift lever in the transmission.
