SON-28821-20K – Sonnax Powerglide Supported Pin Servo System Master Kit

The SON-28821-20K is the Sonnax Powerglide support pin servo system master kit.  The supported pin servo system design was created by Sonnax to address the inherent “Pin Bias” issue with an OEM design Powerglide servo system, plus reduces the chance of any binding in the motion of the servo system caused by side loading.  

The master kit includes all components needed to make the upgrade on your race glide:

• 6061 Anodized Billet Aluminum Supported Servo Cover with O-ring, Paper Gasket & Mounting Hardware
• Sonnax Design Aftermarket Supported Servo Apply Pin with Apply Pin Bore Seal and Pin Shim Pack
• Sonnax Billet Aluminum Two Ring Servo Piston with PTFE Piston Seal Rings
• Servo Piston to Apply Pin Retaining clip
• Race-calibrated Return Spring with Shim Pack Designed to Work with Line Pressure up to 275 PSI
  

We use this kit standard in our 1000+ horsepower glide builds but it is a great upgrade for any horsepower glide build.  The only issue we have found with the system is if you are using a stock case with standard shield, you will need to modify the shield to accommodate the pin support bump on the servo cover.
