The SON-28510-S2 is the Sonnax bolt on ring gear stabilizer kit for the 1.76 design gear carriers with bolt on output shaft. This design suits your more common, 1.69, 1.76, 1.80 and 1.98 planetaries. This kit is designed to support the ring gear and keep it on the transmissions center line at high rpms which significantly reduces vibration and drag while preventing wear and short pinion gear stress.
The kit is easy to install on any Sonnax 1.69 or 1.80 planetary and we have set up the machining process to allow them to be installed on a BTE 1.69, 1.80 of 1.98 planetary.
